St Michaels Map

At the corner of Church & Hope in Historic Bristol, Rhode Island

Founded in 1718 and originally known as the “Church of England in Bristol” when the area was part of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, our church is one of the four colonial Anglican parishes in RI. With the War of Independence, the church became known as St. Michael’s — named for the patron saint of fishermen and with reference to parish church of St. Michael the Archangel in Bristol, England.
