Just for Parents-To follow up on the articles about Parent Support Groups in the last two issues of Wings we would like to invite all interested parents to come to one of two meetings to talk about what kind of group format would be the most useful to you. Some ideas which have been proposed are a series of forums with experts on topics of interest to parents, an informal discussion group with topics generated by participants, or a once a month night out with childcare for the kids and a chance to talk to other parents over a potluck supper. We would like to hear your ideas. The information-gathering sessions will be on Friday Jan. 27 at 7 PM in the Ivy Room with wine and cheese. We will provide childcare for this meeting. The alternative meeting will be after church on Sun. Jan. 29, again in the Ivy Room. We will ask someone to do a story time and a snack for the children while we meet.
